looking for pics of lights mounted up side down using the Out Motoring brackets - looking to get lights lower in the FMIC area.

I meant mounting the light such that the mounting stud of the light is up allowing the light to be below the bracket. Most of the pics show the light in an upright position

 

You could, but on an R56 S you will block the air flow to the intercooler and rad for cooling. You would also see the bolts. it's just normally a cleaner look to mount them the other way, but give it a try if you like.

Note: the higher the light can be, the better it will give off light.
