Visiting service center and need some help..

2 Clubmans with the same rattle on the drivers side when going over chip and seal roads.... really loud rattle/buzz right in the driver's ear. I've tried foam tape in and around the pillar as well as the seat belt holder that is attached to the pillar. There are a lot of chip and seal roads in North Texas and this is extremely annoying...

I'm going to record the noise and let the service folks listen when we go in on Monday but if anyone has additional information/TSB/know of a fix that would be appreciated.

best regards.

Try the lock plunger (little thing that goes up and down when the door is locked/unlocked)...

Thanks!

Thanks folks but unfortunately locking and unlocking the doors does nothing to stop the buzz/rattle. Were you referring to something other than locking the door while driving?

Appreciate the help.
