2012 fully loaded Hampton package, S delivered to my door by the dealer (40 miles) - daughter drives to Santa Barbara the next day (60 miles) - all o.k. The next morning, goes to start car, flashing lights, engine malfunction - drive to nearest dealer, however car vibrates like in an 8.0 equake, towed to closest dealer (60 miles) bad intake valve. Great start for Lionel (Hampton) By the way, it looks great.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Similar thing happened to my next door neighbor a couple of months ago, was a bad HPFP after about 600 miles.

 

Sorry that happened to you....hopefully that is the end and you can just enjoy your car now.

My '09S had a HPFP failure at 343 mi. Have not had another issue with Fubbsy in over two years since then...

 

Lionel is back, defective solenoid valve. Now if I could only program the garage door opener and gate opener.
