Rattle from key or the veneer behind the wheel?
Holy smokes... I hate noises from the car when I am driving and granted we have a lot of chip 'n seal in North Texas but this is ridiculous.... my car is making a horrible noise with the vibration of driving on these roads. When I press on the key downward it improves and when I push on the veneer above the steering wheel it's gone. Is the veneer glued into place or perhaps some double-sided tape?? I did a quick search on rattle but got a zillion hits on "death rattle"... any help greatly appreciated!!

found the rattle...
The vent right above the key rattles and really loudly. Put your finger anywhere on the vent and it stops. Hope this is not the beginning of a lot of noise/rattles especially since I've had this for 72 hours
Put some double-sided tape on the bottom of it and I'll add foam tape as needed. Nabespin has elsewhere described this noise and how it stops when you place any pressure on the central vent so I'm going to try and follow his remedy to take care of this... sheesh 72 hours of ownership...
