Shifting points when using Steptronics

Hey guys,

I'm still breaking in my S Clubman so I can't let it go over 4k RPM. But I was wondering, when is the shifting points if you are doing it manual with the Steptronic? It can't be at around 3-4k because that makes my 0-60 super slow. I have to hit 5th gear for it to be at 60.

Help??

The break in is a guide. If the oil is at operating temperature you can go above 4k but not continuously. Varying the RPM is as important. After 600-700miles again at normal temp a slow smooth advance of RPMs will help in breakin. DON'T wait until the break in period is over without ever letting the engine go above 4000 rpm.
I have broken in over 50 new engines have never had any use oil except the rotary ones.

My $.02 worth.
Clubman are cool...
