Torx size for seat

I am trying to install a center armrest in my 2008 Clubman S. What size is the torx bit needed to remove the rear bolt on the front seat? Thanks.

It's a Torx T40 bit / socket you're needing:

Eric,

Today I put in the armrest. Thanks to you I borrowed the correct size Torx bit and had it in about 30 minutes. I am not sure if I like it, though. I'll give it some time and see if I get used to it.

Good to hear; easy installs are fun.

I removed my OEM NA-spec armrest from my Clubby about a month ago.
It's been the better interior "upgrade" so I can easily shift and reach into the rear seats.

I too am thinking about doing this. I do use the arm rest a little but am doubtful I will miss it in a week on not having it. Maybe something to do tonight, removal.

Just as side note related to the seat, make sure you disconnect your battery before unplugging the seat harness. The airbag computer will need to be reset by a dealer (or if you are crafty you can do it yourself with DIS or ISTA).
