It's a joy every day-- the handling is taught, quick, and smooth. The engine is a delight, pulls powerfully and smoothly up range. The shifter and clutch are spot on, couldn't be better. When I feel a just a little nasty, a heavy foot will bring out the rascal in this car, with torque pull and a little wheel slide over the gaps on the onramp. One test drive is all it took. Nothing like it. Okay, so my friends are sick of hearing about it.

 

Welcome aboard. Hope you have many trouble-free miles of motoring ahead of you in your MINI. About those on and off ramps...you've probably found out by now that you can take the suggested speed limit and double it and still be nowhere near the limits of the car.

 

Congrats & Welcome! Your NAMily will never get sick of hearing it so just go ahead and rave all you'd like. It's never too late for a happy childhood...enjoy!

 

After I bought my MINI I found myself volunteering to run to the grocery store and run other little errands that I hated doing before I got my MINI I love motoring in it! Welcome to the obsession!

 

I dont know....you would think having an outlet to talk about the MINI all you want, would lessen the impulse to talk about it to others. But I find that the more I am on NAM, the more I talk about the MINI irl. I guess without NAM there would be so much less that I knew about the MINI and, therefore, less to talk about.

OTOH, I am fortunate enough to hang with a pretty fun crowd. Some even encourage the MINI talk so maybe it doesnt matter so much in my case.
