I looking to buy a clubman, but I have a hug dog and it don't look like he'll fit with the rear seat in place. It looks like if it was removed you would gain a couple extra inches plus the floor would be level. So how hard is it to remove the seat?
This is the only thing stopping me from buying as he won't fit in my other cars.

You just want to remove the seat backs? Or the seat bottoms, too? I don't think it's going to be very level without the seat bottoms.

Can we see pics of said giant dog?

I just got a new laptop and havn't tranfered the pics yet, but here's an older one he goes about 225lbs now.

The rear seat is easy to remove. There are some bolts in the center between the seat backs. Once those are out, the seat backs kind of hinge forward and slide out. The seat bottom is super easy. Lift up in the front and pull. It pops right out.

The "floor" will not be level once the seats are out. Here's a pic of my '09 with the back seats out:

 

Just for referance the sales man showed me how, take a screwdriver push the spring clip in the center back and pull it out. driverside first.
