... But I'm kind of a "clean look" guy - no stickers, badges, etc...so having "suburban" stuck on my car kind of bugs me.
I'm the same way. I won't have any "I bought this at <insert dealership name here>" decals, badges, etc. on mine. I've always insisted they be removed.

Should come off fine. If you know someone who does body work, get them to gently apply a heat gun to the base of the lettering where the adhesive backing is. After removing the letters, clean and lightly buff the area. You probably won't know they were ever there.
But if you want to test it, remove only the "S" first. If it looks like crap underneath when you're done, cover the area back over with a "CL" and you'll have a MINI "Cluburban."
I'm going to take a look this weekend if I get a chance. I think the letters will probably come off OK, since the paint/clearcoat was new when they went on. The car is just too nice to have something goofy like that on it, IMO. I really like the classy style of this particular color/feature combo, so I'd rather have it look stock.
But yes, it's got a good home. I'll take care of it.
