Ditched the Dunlop run flats...

For bridgestone potenza re-11 s 205/45r17s. What a difference. 10 times better ride. Heck maybe 100 times better. Much, much quieter. Much more responsive steering. All in all well worth carrying some Slime and a pump. I am willing to take my chances for this. Now all I need is some Konis!

Ditching my Continental run-flats was one of the best moves I've ever made. I'm running Michelin Pilot PE2's. What a huge improvement!

Same here, the Dunlops went away a week or so ago. What an improvement, better ride, quieter etc. Wife destroyed the 3rd runflat in two years so buying four Yokohama all season tires was about the same price as replacing the R/F. Bought a boot pump for $50 and will take my chances.

Yokohama Avid Envigor over here...
Never drove my Clubman S on run flats... Got it used 2 months ago, and came with Michelin winters. Now for "nice weather", it's Yokohama. Back in the hatch floor, there is Mini Donut, of course...

I agree! HUGE difference.

Now just get some Koni FSDs and you'll be in 7th heaven!

What pressure are you running? I made the jump today and 36 was a bit loose, of course the 35MPH crosswinds may have had a little to do with that. Went with a Firestone at the recommendation of my tire guy. He hasn't sent me in a wrong direction yet.
Like all have said, smooth, quieter, and much better ride.
