New MINI

Hello everyone: Today I picked up my new 2009 Chili Red MINI S Clubman (RoadRunner) at MINI of Nashville. I just wanted to say thanks to John Monk, my Motoring Assistant and Roger Harrison, MINI Sales Manager. John went the extra 100 miles to take care of me and RoadRunner. If at all possible they will make it happen and sometimes if it isn't possible they will still make it happen. Roger came out to just have a relaxing "shoot the breeze" session and that meant a lot!!!! Give these guys a call if there is anything you need, you will not regret it!!!

Hey oldhippie

on your new Clubman! I too bought my last Mini from John Monk in Nashville - and I live in St. Louis which has a Mini dealership. Not that I had any complaints about Mini of St. Louis (I bought Mini #1 from them) but Nashville and their service, particularly John Monk are super! Enjoy!

Thanks all for the welcome. I did trade my 05 MINI "Tweetie" for the Clubman S, so I have been a MINI Maniac since Aug 2004. I have made a couple of MINI on the Dragon runs and hope to make several more. Two things, tattedXB, as soon as it stops raining here I will post some pics and CJP, you are correct John is a great guy!!!!!!!

Congrats!

I picked up my new CR/R Clubman S too! It's just like yours, but red roof + roof rails. Same lovely sport stripes! 2009 as well, nothing like end-of-year deals!

Thanks all. I now have about 2500 on the clock and this car is far superior to the 05 in ride, performance, noise and ease of operation. Just need to get back with John for a little more training on the options programming!! oops!!!
