LOL i chose the PW on my own, saw a brown dirty in person on the freeway, looked like crap (pardon the term), lol - i just like white, had dark colored cars for the past 10 years, time to get a lighter colored one :-P The hot chocs are sxy indeed, but I chose PW THIS time

 

I'd expect you wouldn't understand being from IOU Cal-e-forn-ya. Actually, I'm as color-blind as a moonbat and told my mentor to keep me away from the turd brown HC. He obliged as I told him I was looking for the traditional British Racing Green. Being a European descendant and wanting to pay respect to my ancestors, I dutifully searched the lot and found a beautiful "green" car.

As we walked the lot, I told my saleshuman, "This is the one" and he laughed as though my pants were around my ankles as I pointed to what I thought was the the BRG, when in fact it was the Hot Dirty ***** Chocolate. He told me the true color and I said...?...come on...you know the two words that have gotten more people in trouble...that's right,
"F**** it". I told him I didn't care, it was too pretty, in a whorish way, to pass up. I wound up with the HC and get that dirty look in my eyes every time I wash her.

Other than the voices and the arrest warrants, it's been okay.

UGH, 1 more week - car's in the states TODAY (whoohoo!), so I get to pick er up next sat, the 15th (or MAYBE a day or two before if i'm lucky).

Wasn't really excited till last night - was trying to contain myself bc it was so far away, now it's almost time. :-)

Oh, serious post: anybody in so cal know of somebody looking for a used car? 2004 scion xb, black, manual - runs great, $5500.

Have you found out when you get to pick it up yet? I'm thinking about ordering a Mini soon and trading the xB in for it...

Anyways, spoke with my dealer a few days ago, and were shooting for aug 15th still. Sweet, less than a week away!

It's almost the big day, tatted! The anticipation must be killing you. I wouldn't be able to sleep if I were this close to getting a new car.

How does this work? Is there a core return charge or do you get to keep the white one too?

 

*Shrug* No idea. It's built into the hood right? I always just figured the CF one fits over the existing white one.

haha i'm tempted, i've got the option to get it on friday NIGHT, but i'd rather drive it for the first time in the day time - so i'm going in saturday at 9am (early as possible) as opposed to friday at 7pm

 

Nah, it's a separate piece that comes out. The CF one is the same shaped piece, just a different material.

 

Picking it up tomorrow at 9am or so, then going straight to a tint shop in Costa Mesa 2 miles from my place - kinda excited now, haha.
