Has anyone tracked their Clubbie?

I think im about to sign up for some track time. Just wondering if anyone else has had their mccs out to the track yet? I will be racing firebird raceway here in Phoenix. I will probably be taking 1/2 day lessons with instructors since its been 2 years since I was out racing last. I am soo looking forward to this, just waiting to get some new brakes on the car from TCE performance before i go out.

Just wondering who else has taken their car out for some fun??

Yes, I was at Heartland Park this past wed with my '09 Clubman S.......

I'm afraid I was disapponted, but my frame of reference is my '03 MCS JCW, and that may have colored my opinion some.

Power and brakes are fine, mine has an auto trans and while this in and of itself is not a problem, the difference in gear ratios was throwing me off too.

Add to that the 16" runflats compared to my 17" summer UHP tires and stock sway bar vs the 22mm bar I put on the '03 and it's hard to compare the two cars....

That said, it's always fun to feed your "need for speed"!

It's not me, and I don't know who the owner was, but I witnessed this:

I took my JCW to the track a few months ago, what a HOOT! That being said, the Run Flat tires suckes, the brakes could have used more cooling and the factory intercooler needs to be replaced.
