R55 Who has the most miles on the Clubman, and how are they holding up?

2009 Clubbie S with manual shift. 75k miles on it. 25MPG, prolly because I live in NYC?. Original clutch, this is getting me super nervous tho. It seems to be quite imminent to get it replaced or not.
Issues; tensioners with free of charge by the steal-er,
cracked thermostat housing which led coolant leaking,
DIY front and rear pads and rotors,
road noise( Michelline Pilot Sport figured it out a little)
little rattles here and there( I kinda don't give a damn about it)
death rattle( even though the tensioner was replaced it still lasts while it's
a little tiny bit quieter than before)
not properly working real wiper
Well, they all seem to be little issues after writing these down here.
I still love my Mini. Can't love it more. But not sure wether my next car will be another Mini or not because my GF is complaining its size, while she's only 5' tall and weighs less than 100lbs, and small HP and high RPM on express way. I kinda want bigger engine with low RPM when I speed. BMW 135/1M or Merc A is seriously considered as my next car .

147000 miles on my 08. Lots of little nagging issues. I came here today to see if I could get a line on why the car overheats quickly while idling now. I have to skip drive thru's and parking lots make me nervous.
I do believe I need a timing chain. I am getting a cam sensor code, cam sensors have been replaced.

My 08' Justa is just under 60K. So far, outside the window dip issue that dragged on for quite some time, the car has been trouble free. Beyond oil changes/filters/wipers, I just replaced both sets of brakes (rears were still ok, but I did them anyway), I've replaced tires and that is the list. I likely won't press my luck however, I doubt I will see 65K before selling/trading. I rarely keep any car more than 6 years. But I have to admit, I have not become bored with this car at all, even after 5 years. I sold my Miata, bought 1 year after buying the Mini, after only 3 years - no problems, just tired of it.
I have an early 08', ordered on the first day of actual sales and delivered 6 or so weeks later. Its 6th birthday this spring seems like a good target for handing it over to the next lucky guy.

So who has the highest mileage at this point? I am at 147k and sitting until I can find someone to work on it in my new town. Threw a code for a cam sensor, replaced and it came back. The mechanic that did the cam sensors said timing belt but he is 1000 miles away now.
That and the fan was staying on when stopping, now does not come on at all.
Car was a vehicle for an employee that did property inspections for us, so he would get in it at 8AM, and drive until 5PM with about 10-12 stops a day five days a week until about six months ago.

104k today....paranoid about timing chain (rattles sometimes). going to get it replaced, carbon cleaned.
car hates cold temps below 10deg. get a dash light. heater seems to blow cold randomly then hot.....shes getting old. needs new shocks.
may get a new turbo while stuff is being replaced.....
i cant sell it like this (mentally) if i do dump it....shes been a good runner.

2010 JCW Clubman, 65,000 miles.
3 water pumps @ 20k, 40k, 60k
1 turbo @ 43k
1 thermostat housing @ 60k
1 oil pump gasket @ 60k
1 tensioner @ 40k
1 valve cover @ 60k
Fortunately all covered under the original warranty or extended warranty.
I suspect there will be more before the 100,000 mile warranty expires.

2008 Aug 1 birthday (June build) and Pelle has 207,000+ miles, no repairs, only new pads. He now needs new rotors and pads, and a timing chain assembly, but since he's a Justa, no campaign lovin for him. Will likely do all of the above myself, unless I find a reputable indie service shop in the Bay Area for a reasonable price.

Don't know where you are in MI, but before you give up on it, check with Chad at Detroit Tuned. His shop does great work and almost certainly can give you a better quote than the dealer. It might well be worth taking it there even if it's a bit of a drive. Good luck!

101K & counting
2009 Clubman; passed 100K a few weeks back. Replaced the water pump for a leak at 42K (under warranty), thermostat at 84K and serpentine belt a few miles later. 6 Speed Gertrag and still have original clutch; not a super-lot of city driving. Just routine oil changes and brake replacements so far, knock on wood. Probably won't get another Clubman; it's ridiculous they cut the power-train warranty to 50K and charge $3200 more for coverage to 100,000 miles. The way MINI just walked away from the Clubman boggled my mind; was looking seriously at trading in last summer for a 2014 and they just killed it w/o saying anything. From what I have seen, when (if) they start 2015 (2016?) production, it will be more of a pudgy pig anyway. Whenever it starts costing more than new war payments, I'll call it a day & go somewhere else...

Still VERY pleased with Pelle (aka Clubbie)..he's coming up on 249,000 miles since his Aug 1st, 2008 birthday, and has been as reliable as a clock, albeit with a CEL that has a mind of its own. I've done all my own work: two total brake jobs, thermostat cover, water pump and serpentine belt all at the same time, and religious oil changes with Mobil 1 European Formula is all I've done to him. He gets new air and charcoal cabin filter every other oil change. I take care of him and he takes care of me.

If it leaks, I'd think about doing the entire R&R..pump, tube and thermostat cover...took me a day to gather parts and setup, and a day to do the work. Fiddly, but easy.

Good to see high miles and running cars.
Our clubman ate a valve at 107k. I've been slowly getting the head rebuilt and replacing all the rubber/wear bits under the hood while I'm in there. Hopefully, I'll get another 100k/7 years before I have to pull the head again.
It's been nice to learn my way around the MINI and build a comfort level I didn't think I'd get with a modern/current car.
We tend to keep our cars for a LONG time. 300k on the e21, 400-500k on the tii, 275k on the M3. We're not opposed to rebuilding suspensions, dropping in a fresh rebuild on the motor, re-upholstering seats. The cars have soul. They become an extension of you after that many miles.

Vindi -- 2009 JCW Clubman -- is almost at 80K miles and still chugging along.
tCan't list all the repairs because the dealership is refusing to give me any sort of reciept or itemization of the last set of repairs done. Even though we paid $2000 over what the warranty covered.
Clutch failed at around 10K
Transmission had to be replaced
Turbo feed lines -- twice so far
Valve cover cracked -- twice
Passenger seat airbag sensors
Passenger door panel bubbled and had to be replaced
Timing chain and tensioner
Rear main seal leak
Water pump replaced
Thermostat housing replaced
Sun roof came off of the tracks numerous times
and a bunch of other stuff i don't remember right now

Bought my 2010 Clubman (Base) on April 1st. Had just over 75,000 on it and we put over 600 miles on it since then. Taking it in to get the brakes serviced ( as they are making some noise) and the engine compartment has a tick in it. Not the engine - something else as it does not change speed with the engine's RPMs.
So far so good!
