Anyone else w/an '08 Clubman that has a DSC toggle in front of the shifter does not turn off if desired?

DSC appears to kick in when I would expect it to while driving, but nothing happens when I hit the button to disable DSC (no light comes on). Unless someone can point out a good reason to be concerned, I just assume that I wait until my next service appointment to get it checked out - rarely kill DSC.

 

Do you just casually flick the switch? You sorta have to hold it for a bit. Not too long or anything, I just find that if you quickly flick it, it doesn't always register.

 

I will give that a shot and report back - the Sport button has been so responsive , I may be hitting the DSC the same way.

 

I found that you have to hold it for a few seconds. When it does turn off you will have the warning icon show up.
