Head Room

I'm 6'1" and wondering how much head room I can expect. I know it will depend upon the seat position. I'm not comfortable with the seat in a laid back position. I perfer having the back straight up, will I still have enough head room?

I sit STRAIGHT up; always have in all my cars. I'm 6' (ok, 5'11" and 1/2 now, shrinking as I get older) and I have plenty of headroom. May dad who is 6'2" was impressed with the headroom in this car. THEN he found out that the seat was raised, lowered it with the pump-handle on the side, then he was AMAZED.

I'm 6' 3" and there's plenty of headroom even with the seat "up". I don't even drive with it all the way back or reclined very much.

Me being only 5'7" couldn't fit in a Honda Civic Coupe or a Scion TC, my head would hit the Roof, even with the Seats at there lowest position. So the MINI won "Hands Down" when it came to purchasing our New Car!!

Back before I was a happy MINI owner, but always contemplating the merits of being one, I happened to be out on a business trip to Denver and arranged to meet my friend Scott for a round of golf while I was in the area. He is about 6' 7" and 235 lbs.

I arrived at the golf course first. Lo and behold here comes Scott rolling up in his beautiful CR/W MCS. He told me how much he loved it, and that even at his size he had plenty of head and leg room.

It was my final catalyst. Two months later I was part of the fraternity.

My husband is 6'5". Even with the sunroof, he has no problems. But, everyone is different - go sit in a few and see what works for you.

I am 6'2 and have no issue with the headroom. I have more headroom in the Clubman than I did in my honda accord.

I'm 6'2" and have no problems. Much more headroom and legroom than my F-150 had.

6'1" Most head and legroom I have ever had in a car. Well, not a pick-up. But I am an anti-sunroof kind of guy.

Leg room is also awesome, for the times my wife drives the car I can fully extend my legs, makes long trips much more confortable then sitting upright in our Honda Pilot.

I've never had a problem with head room in either MINI (6'), but the leg room is lacking in my '04. Plenty of space in the Clubman though!

Thank You

Hi,
Thanks for all the replies. It's good to know that I'll have plenty of head room with the seat upright.

I'm 6'5", didn't like it with a sunroof and seat straight up. I brushed the top. No sunroof and I am set.

when i took delivery i was a little freaked out because i'm only 5'8" and my head was literally touching the roof. but then i realized my seat was all the way up. just be sure to pump it down all the way and you'll be fine!

We're about the same height.
The seat can be dropped, which adds another bit of room.
If you have the sunroof, there's another inch.

Shave your head and you get another inch.

Have you sat in a real Clubman? That's the best way to tell how YOU will like the space around you.
