Try to find a dealer who a number of models on the lot, so you can sit inside and see for yourself. Unfortunately, most Mini's on the lot are sold and not available for demo drives.

Yeah..I was just bragging to another coupe owner that I have 24 cubic feet of cargo space.

having lived with a MC since 2003, I would recommend shutting the DSC OFF during heavy snow or when trying to get out of a slippery situation.
from my experience the car is very easily manuverable in snow but the DSC's behavior makes it more unpredictable than when the driver is in full control.
