R55 1st Service Interaction
1st Service Interaction
I had a list of a few items I wanted looked at and emailed my new service advisor at the Warwick dealership. He wanted to know when I wanted to come in so he could order parts in advance and hold a rental for me. Hmm, I thought we are off to a good start.
I brought the car in, we went over everything I wanted looked at
USB iPod interface problem
contacts download for my Blackberry
3M bubbles, lines on the nose
roof rack problems
one sill separating
Even though my service advisor was out the next day he still had someone else call me just to give me an update on the status of the car.
I picked it up the next day, we went through everything. They swapped the roof rack out, just based on my complaints and gave me a brand new one. The 3M on the nose was re-done. Both door sills were replaced (even though only one was starting to separate).
I must say this was my first interaction and I have to give Inskip Mini of Warwick and my SA
I'm came from owning a VW Passat Wagon for 10 years an VW's terrible service to a great start and outstanding service.
PS: I was at a vintage VW car show yesterday with the fam and was parked right across from the show. My wife and I were having lunch with the our kids on the grass, I heard some commotion and looked up the hill to see 10+ people gathered around my HC taking pictures of it and walking around it.
It was hilarious to see all the VW bug geeks drooling over my car. I must say I've never ever had that happen to any other car I owned. My son walked up and gave them a tour of the car. You had to be there to experience the irony of being at a car show and becoming the center of attention. To top it off an hour later we were walking through looking at the cars and I over heard some people talking about a clubman they just saw. The other folks asked where it is an they pointed up the hill and said you can't miss it, it's got the roof box on it. I thought to myself "wait a minute that is my car they are talking about", my wife and I got such a kick out of that day.

Ditto on the good story geoffv
I am going through Inskip so it was assuring to hear of your good experience!
Great to hear the Clubman is so popular
My MCCS should be in Jersey City by 4:00p.m. - but I'm not neurotic
