So much excitement for the pending MINI.
I learned the fine art of pacing. I secretly (the spouse still doesn't understand) bought toys/goodies for him and hid them in my closet. I was on NAM tracking and commiserating until the wee a.m. hours every night. The tracking blackout exiting from the Panama Canal was the longest three days of my life. My spouse was ready to commit me. And the worse - I had the lovely name of "Eunice" picked out - and when I met him, I realized that he was a boy.
Most embarrassing.
So, chin up. And, as a side note, strong drink seems to help...to get to sleep if nothing else. Good luck!!!!

I just used a clay bar on my 2001 Sentra SE. What a difference! Holy Cow! One panel was a completely different color than one that was not clayed. An excellent skill to develop so that the Clubman stays amazing!

We have a lot of wait time, our Clubman will not be finished until Jan/Feb 09. Ordering from SouthBay Mini takes a long time, but worth it for MSRP, not the 5k over most of the SoCal dealers wanted.

Studying tire types and specs.
Ordered MiniMotoring.com shirts for the wife.
Invest in detailing equipment
Download and read Manual
Read NAM about stereo upgrades.
Worry if we choose the right setup.
Look into modifications
Bookmark online Mini Cooper Part and Rim/Tire companies

If you have a Mac, you can take the obsession up a notch and download wbarnhill's tracking widget: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co....php?p=2331609. What's the forecast again? Gotta open up Dashboard!
Maybe that tune was meant to be a deterrent from visiting the OL too often?
