My wife just a met an older couple with a clubman S-laser blue outside of Walgreens in NW Indiana and they were really friendly (wife told me my kids and the couple wave until they turn in another direction). Apparently, we are the second clubman in town so now at least we can wave to each other

 

While driving my red w/ black stripes clubman s, I drove 10 minutes behind another red w/ black strips -- although that clubman was a JCW! But sadly, no wave or acknowledgement :-(

Hey, it could be like in my city. Number of MINIs seen since beginning of year: more than I can count. Number of waves: 1. I am not kidding. I gave up. I only wave if they wave first since 99.9% of them never even glance at me.

 

I saw two fellow Clubman drivers while stuck in traffic on DC's notorious SE/SW Freeway... One waved, the other seemed too p'd-off to do anything remotely friendly (can't say I'd blame him much though).

 

Three sightings:
1) HC/HC justa parked in downtown Hickory NC last Tuesday (2/23).
2) HC/S (I think justa) at Carolina Pavilion, Charlotte NC, Saturday 2/27.
3) SS/B "S," also at Carolina Pavilion, 2/27.

 

I am not sure if it counts, but I saw a beautiful MCCS BRG-B on Thursday morning outside of my hotel in Paris at the corner of "Rue Lacepede" and "Rue Monge" during a business trip this week.

It is funny when a clubman looks like a "regular family sedan" because of the size of the other cars park around

 

Saw two Clubmans today - a silver one in Simi Valley, CA (while driving our PW) and a HC this afternoon on the 101 freeway in Universal City. rasputinj and I saw the PW below last week while on vacation in London. Enjoy!

 

Saw yesterday at the dog park in Wauconda, IL a PW/B Clubman. He was unloading his dogs while I loaded mine. Second time I've seem them there.

I see one everyday at Fairfax Government Ctr in VA, he is a cool guy he waves and all. Unlike the guy in the Blue/Black top at Monument Drive, yes you.

 

Saw a BRG in the parking structure at work just now (Thousand Oaks, CA). This is the person who REFUSES to get eye contact with me, wave, smile, thumbs up, whatever...even though I'm driving a Clubman too! I just can't figure it out!

 

I've seen a handfull of clubbies in cincy and indy. One PW and a Choco one in the past weekend.
I've tried to give the peace sign to any and all MINI's but i get a return wave about 1/4 of the time. Heck i've kinda waved to MINI's on the other side on I-74 just to keep in shape. So if you are on I-74 from Cincy to Indy on Mondays or Fridays and see a plain PW clubbie, wave back. LOL!

 

Last week I caught up the only other hot chocolate Clubman around Traverse City, at a stoplight. I've seen the car before, and I've even been in touch with one of the owners through this forum. But we actually got to roll our windows down and chat briefly. Not quite time to get an iPhone photo! We've agreed in principle to get together this spring sometime. Any other Traverse City Clubmans out there?

 

My Clubman is in California but I'm heading to Torch this July for my Aunt's 100th bday and hope to catch a glimps of your HC while I'm there ! Maybe I can rent one??

 

I saw one yesterday night (Red Clubman S) one Cornell Ave outside of the museum of science and industry in Chicago (driving my wife Murano, so I am not sure it counts!)

 

Saw another one at O'Hare main parking (level 3, white sox, close to elevator 3): Dark silver, black roof

 

I'd like to report that I drove through Shelby, NC twice on Saturday and did NOT see hoonu.

 

I want to thank the HC Clubby coming out of DC that almost makes me eat the divider, thanks for the camaraderie DB!

 

This begs the question- which is the plural of Clubman: "Clubmen," or "Clubmans?"

 

Very good question indeed...I prefer "Clubmans" but I suppose it's up for debate...

 

Saw a silver (FL plates) this morning in South Chicago (Halsted & 175th street, Homewood).

Actually, they saw me (I was answering emails during a red light, so I wasn't paying attention) and started trying to get my attention (waving, high beams, etc), almost missed them (&%$@# email) but finally I raise my eyes and caught them before they went back to the highway

 

On my way home from work tonight came across one at a signal light to my right and then while waiting at the light a black one came up on my left side.

Also parked next to another PW yesterday in the parking lot of Target in Moorpark, CA.
