clubman wheels offset

I have just ordered my Chili Red Clubman S. I am shopping for 17" wheels in black to coordinate with my black trim. I have been trying to find what offset the 17" Clubman wheels are, from the factory, and no one from the dealership can seem to answer that question. Does anybody out there know what it is? Go to www.mini2.com
Click on Forums, upper page
Click on FAQ and DIY in middle of red bar
Under Wheels and Tyres, click on "What Original Equipment Wheels and Tires are Available" and scroll down to the wheels on your car.

Most MINI wheels have an offset of 48 (look for the number next to "ET". An offset of 45 is available on most aftermarket wheels

For a 7 inch wide aftermarket wheel....you will be safe with an offset between 40 and 50. Lots of other variables play a part in fitment like ride height and tire size.....but that is the general offset you will want to aim for. If you start looking at wider wheels, that range will lower a bit.
