Having used this thread when I took delivery, I thought I might try to give back a little.
- I struggled the most with programming the garage door opener - they may have some pointers. I finally managed it with the help of the door opener's user manual.
- Check to see that any of the messages that are stored in the computer are cleared. My Tire Pressure Monitors had not been reset before I left the dealership.
- Have them go over how to get into progamming mode on the items that can be set with the convenience package...I used the book - which was helpful, but they didn't show me any of if in person - which might have saved some time.
- On my way home I took a rock to the windsheild - luckily no damage...they did not try to sell me windsheild protection. They did try to sell me prepaid maintenance up to 6yrs/100k miles and tire/wheel protection. Not expecting this I was a bit unprepared for those quesitons -so as Robin suggests -ask the dealership about the extras before hand so you can research a little.
- Take your camera so you can take pictures of the big day!
