lurch: Yes on the handles. Unsure about the badges though. I'm thinking of getting Vinylstyle's custom Mini emblems in black and red though but they're pretty costly.

What do you think about a thread on this? Is there one? I may start it myself, since I have the S itch. I love my Clubbie, and this change may never happen, but I'd like to share thoughts on trading up. When I see a lovely Clubman like IzzyG's going up for sale, I know there's plenty to talk about!

Pearl white has to be the nicest non metallic paint for the Mini. I don't dig the other non-metallic paint. Then again, that's just an opinion. :D

Izzy, we got our MINI at Knauz too. I havent seen anyone else on NAM from knauz besides you. I would remove the license plate frame though, we did and it looks a little cleaner.

 

Minimarine - you've got yourself a real beauty of a Pepper White - congratulations! I, too, have always liked that color - and it's a free option, too.

diplo: Do you mean remove the front plates all together? WI law requires both front and rear unfortunately. Or are you talking about just the Knauz license plate frame? I cannot seem to find regular no-logo or no-worded frames. -.-

 

Hey IzzyG I saw some with nothing on them at PepBoys.

The front and rear license is required in CA as well, and I have a ticket from yesterday to prove it... I came home with my tail tucked in and put on a no-holes bracket for the front. I noticed a Mini down the street from me that is being driven daily and has been for six+ months with a paper tag in the front window still..Like I said I hoped I could get away with it but had to join the front plate crew..

Oh yeah and my rear license plate frame says "My Other Car is a Hot Wheels"
