You can't link something from your computer directly. You have to upload the picture to a website, then put the IMG tags around the URL of the picture. Photobucket is one of the easier sites to upload photos to.

Hey dude - um, just so you know - you can't link to an image on your computer LOL

You need to post it to a site like photobucket, or even myspace first - then link from there.

Just happened to log on. Here's the only pic I took. The tan leather is a bit washed outin the photo. It really looks good with the BRG...

JCW Clubman,
I saw yours in your gallery. What a beauty! Nice large photo, too. Is that baby a 200+ hp JCW? If so, how does it feel? Maybe you're still on break-in. The S itself is fast, I wonder ow this would be...

Wow, thanks Pete! I love the look of the tan leather in a BRG sportscar. Congrats on your new ride! Mine gets here in about two more weeks. How was the dealer experience so far? Any issues with the car?

Fifuggo,
Bought mine at MINI of Annapolis (got a VERY good price). We drove up and had a great experience taking delivery - they treated us extrememly well, very professional folks. I'd strongly recommend the sales manager (I made the deal by email with him), and the MA he subsequently assigned to us, to anyone interested in buying a MINI.

Have almost 300 miles on it with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

A hoot to drive... even my wife is trying to get me to drive her Lexus so she can have "Fubbsy." You'll really enjoy your baby when it is delivered.

Pete

Finally, I have some pictures that weren't taken with my cell phone or a crappy point and shoot.

You can see my Mom's ragtop in the background here. We're a two-MINI family.

I'm getting it dropped on Wednesday.

I have to agree. I've never really been into the matte black cars I've seen, but then they were never Minis. On top of that, the photos weren't as good as yours. Of course this being WI we don't really have any matte black cars. ALSO, I've never been as into "justas" of any Mini type (usually the 15" rims I see on them), but your "justa" looks great. Great looking car.

And out of curiosity, how much does a matte job like that cost?

Thanks! I wasn't really into the looks either when I bought the car, but I knew I could make it look amazing. The rims were one of the first things to go. It is going to look even better once it's a few inches lower. I'm very excited .

The paint was kind of pricey. It cost me $3,800. Partly because it's a weird specialty job, and partly because I got it done at Galpin Auto Sports which is just an expensive place. They do quality work with paint though, and I didn't want to trust it to people I don't know.

Well smart investment then because it honestly looks amazing. I too would have been wary of trusting folks with the car. Pricey indeed, but spare no expense for piece of mind.

Oh, and btw, that's your "Mom's" car?!?!?? I'm just trying to get Mom into a Mini!

Yes, that is actually my Mom's car, haha. She's had hers for a while now (longer than I've had my Clubman). It's an incredible car to drive, but the backseats are too small for most people and the trunk is also too small to be very practical. Right around the time that I was looking for a car, the Clubman came out and I instantly knew that it was the car for me; just as fun to drive as my Mom's car, but more practical.

I'm 17 in case you were wondering. This is actually my first car, and I couldn't be happier with it.

Sharp looking clubby, but I think that, with the flat black, the head lamps need a "Joey Mod" and blackout of the chrome would finish off the look.

Agreed. I'm most likely getting that done in about a week when i drop the car off for another paint touch up.
