My car left the factory 31 Jan. Was cleared for export by UK customs in Southampton 4 Feb. Will likely get manifested and loaded in next 3 days. 12-14 days after to arrive in Nashville. Time to think of a name.

I'm jealous... I called my MA yesterday and he said that he didn't have any more info until my MINI is loaded on a ship, but he would "get back to me soon". My MINI has been on the dock for 6 days now and I'm going nuts!!

Where did you guys find the arrival information for the EMDEN? My dealer told me it would be at Charleston on Feb 16. Previously it was stated the 11th on the forum.

 

My MA sent me the booking info for the Emden and the car is still scheduled for a Monday Feb 11 arrival at Charleston port. Feb 16 arrival? Who told you that?

 

Well the launch date is the 16th, we are not allowed to sell a Clubman until that date. We are allowed to show them, or at least its up to the descretion of the dealership.

Your dealership will have Clubmans before that though, in fact we just got a few today, but again, we can't sell them until the 16th of Feburary.

Thats probably what your MA was meaning

 

That might be it! Well, if it's getting in by Feb 11th, we should have our Clubbies on or right after the launch date! We will be some of the only people on the street with this rare car, hopefully that'll last a while.

I just called the dealer here in Orlando and the man on the phone was hesitant to tell me because he says they are not supposed to say, but that have one clubman in stock. He mentioned that they cant drive it or take it out of wherever they have it store, but he would be willing to show it to me since I preordered one... I need to get over there ASAP!

 

They just updated my ship to the TURANDOT which leaves on Feb 11th. Hopefully, we get on this time.

 

Aww, I just checked the shipping schedule and it has been updated as of Feb 6 to show the EMDEN arriving at Charleston on the 13th. Hopefully it doesn't take any more than 3-4 days to go from there to my dealer in South Florida, so that I can get my car on the weekend, otherwise I will have to wait until the NEXT weekend!

 

What dealership did you get yours from? I'm getting mine from South Motors and I think I'm on the Emden as well. We might be shipmates and truckmates! My MA told me that it's not due in Miami 'til the 21st, but I have an alarm that's getting installed at the port, so yours may show up sooner.

 

My dealer is Lauderdale MINI and we are shipmates as well
