Hot Chocolate is soooooooo the way forward, seems other manufacturers are following mini, as I saw a metallic brown Lexus SC at the weekend in the UK. Only seen 1 other HC in the UK in the 3 months I've had the car, the air bags nearly went off we were waving at each other so much!

Thank you all! The paintwork is amazing once you see it in person. Love the color and we are very glad we ordered it without even seeing it before hand. I think metallic brown is on its way to popularity!

 

Mine is waiting to be shipped off across the water. Should be here by the end of March a the dealer. Still need to sell another car before it gets here. I am so excited to get it. It will be just in time for Spring.

NICE.... every time I see the Chocolate confirms that I made the right choice. Enjoy and keep it between the lines !

 

Lose the front license plate. Causes to problems: ruins "the lines" and give the coppers a target for laser!

 

Unfortunately, we have to have one in Maine, so we can't lose ours. Fortunately, I don't speed, so I'm not a target for lasers. My wife, on the other hand...

 

Maryland also requires front and rear plates.

I placed my order for my H/C Clubman last week. I am already getting impatient. B R E A T H E . . . . . B R E A T H E . . . . ok! These pics definitely reinforce my choice! How do I join the H/C Clubman club? Can I join if mine is still on order?

 

Also not required in Florida: income taxes and inspection stickers. But that's okay. The humidity makes me sweat, and there are too many hurricanes. However, I promise I'll visit often. I'm going to Disney in April, as a matter of fact.

Hey T&CMCSa, Mini's looking fab, have you had your side sills painted or are they different? It looks like it from the pictures but I can't see properly?

 

Wow, I am lucky #13 on the list. I found out my HC Mini was finished yesterday, I should have it by the end of March!

I ordered the lounge leather, is anyone else concerned about the cream piping getting dingy from getting in and out?

 

They came painted. I did not realize they were different until you mentioned it. I guess it is part of the factory Aero kit. When I ordered it, I really did not know what it was going to look like but I wanted something different and did not feel like waiting for the JCW stuff. Now that I looked at the car a little closer and compared it to some other pics on here, it turns out the rear bumper is different as well. Luckily, I really like the look! Here are a couple more pics. It is difficult to get the lighting correct so that they show up well.

 

Count me in on the Chocolate revolution. Placed my order on Saturday for a HC/Silver with the HC leather interior. When I saw and felt that interior in person at Knauz MINI a couple weeks ago I was hooked.

Checking to see if anybody else has used' Scooter". Having trouble finding a suitable name that means something. When driving a Mini I feel like I am able to scoot into the traffic and weave my way around all those big monster cars.... so "SCOOTER" ?
