Hi UFO,
Yes, you can just PM me to place an order or email me at brownflyer2000@hotmail.com alternate email everardoval@netzero.net or you may also call me at 707-330-5823.

rc's, the bmw z cars' windscreen are sold through the dealerships. I noticed them as well so I went in to check at my local BMW dealership and sure enough there they were... But I'm working on a few other makes. It's just taken longer than expected.

I've been focusing on the widscreen for the Mini rear passengers but I've not been happy with my solutions to the attachment points. Finally I decided to mold those pieces myself and I'll be ready to test the whole assembly by the end of next week.

Just a quick note:

First: thanks to everyone who has ordered the windscreen. The 30th windscreen is going out today. Also, thanks for the great response and feedback.

Lastly: My family and I are going on a short vacation (and of course will be using the windscreen!). We'll be returning on Sat. Aug. 4th.
So if anyone is interested in ordering a windscreen, I won't get to my emails until then. Just send me a message and I will respond as soon as I get back.

Thanks to everyone once more.
Ev

I've been motoring with Ev's windscreen in the convertible for a few weeks now. I must say, it is VERY effective.

In fact, it might be TOO effective on hot days. Had to remove it one particularly hot and humid day a couple weeks ago to keep from SMAO (sweating my ___off).

I think I'm going to use it primarily in the autumn and spring months.

And it is so integrated with the interior that it's barely noticeable.

Great product, Ev !!

Gave my new windscreen it's first major test this morning. Took a 100 mile drive on the turnpike from Cleveland to PA. The temperature was 57 when we left. We were totally comfortable with the windows up and wearing just light sweatshirts!!! What a difference!!! Truly a great product. We got the sidewalk" version and it looks great. Good job Ev!!!!

57!!! in the middle of summer? It's been well over 100 the last few days here! At least you'll be comfy with the top down. Glad you're enjoying it Kent.

It was really 57!! After all of the heat, humidity and rain in Ohio over the past few weeks, we're in the middle of a beautiful holiday weekend. Evening lows in the 50s and highs in the upper 70's low 80's with clear blue skies. I was so happy with the windscreen. Even at highway speeds of 70mph ... with an air temp of 57 when we left and about 67 when we arrived in PA ... my wife didn't even turn on the heated seats!!! We are very happy!!! And the screen fits-like-a-glove and looks like it came as a factory installed part of the MINI. Can you tell I'm pleased!!!

Got my windscreen from Ev last week and my Sidewalk this week. I brought the screen with me and put it on at the dealer. It got great reviews, and My MA was asking who made it. The people at Schomp took pictures of the sidewalk with the windscreen. Driving top down it helps so much. This is much better than my test drive without it.

Just thought I'd pop back in here and say hey EV!

After several months of using this windscreen I haven't found any flaws or had any issues with it. Its been durable and shows no signs of wear at all.

Best part of all is that it does its job! I can even talk on my cell phone on the freeway with this thing

Thanks EV!

Oh, by the way I love these M7 coilovers man. Work perfectly for me and have the ride qualities I desired. M7's are definately working with the extra weight of the convert.

Rob

I've now had mine for several months. Last weekend I drove to a weekend conference ... about 250 miles at highway speeds and, once again, it performed flawlessly. I can't imagine driving without it!!!

Wind Screen

Ok EV, I will be ordering one tonight. After looking at all 7 pages of posts, the post by "ba1ley" did it for me. We also have a 07 Sidewalk. The pictures look great. I have not tried or even seen the factory screen, but with all the other great posts I feel good about placing my order. Will give my review after we receive the screen.

sidewalk07 - I also have a 2007 Pepper White Sidewalk and you'll be pleased with the windscreen's color match. It looks like it's part of the car.

Hey Rob, Nice to hear from you. Now that you've been running with the M7 c/o, you've got to do a write up on them. I'm still waiting for someone to do a full evaluation of the M7 c/o, particularly for the Cabrio. Sounds like you've found another alternative for us Cabrio owners.

I've been running on the Megan c/o for a while now and I must tell you, I'm very happy with them. Ofcourse there was a bit of tweaking and adjustment that went on.

Also, thanks to everyone that has ordered the windscreen!!

I think I'm ready to put my OEM windscreen up for sale. Since the development of the this aftermarket one, I have only used it a few times for testing and comparison purpose and now it's been in it's case sitting in my garage for the better part of 4 months. And, I just don't see myself going back to the OEM one anytime soon.

I'll try to get that done here in the next little bit. As you know, I'm a bit um shall we say... technically challenged when it comes to actual numbers, pie charts and data sheets But I'll do my best! I've actually been thinking of trying my hand at some autoXing. That will be a good indication of how they handle under some duress. But around town driving which I mainly do they suck up the bumps yet have that tightness that screems CORNERS!! Oh, and I installed a 22mmrsb. That thing is amazing yo...

Sorry to derail your thread. Back to business at hand!

The best windscreen in the world!

Some jackhole pulling a trailer decided to do a uturn infort of me EV! Tboned him! Car was in the shop for 6 friggen weeks. Amazingly enough the car is straight and runs perfect thanks to the best bodyshop in the world!

I'll get some updated pics up, cars looking sick! The pics in my gallery are with my Eibachs. I'll update them this weekend The cars dropped so the rears are tucked slightly and the fronts have about a 1/2 inch fender gap. I'll let you know the measurements to my jack points front and back. Car looks like its scootin down the road tho. Couldn't be more happy with the looks. I had the fronts about 1/8 inch gap in the front. That was too low, was rubbing the fenders at that height

I was on a Mini run with my local club, REMI, yesterday Saturday, up in the foothills of the Sierras by Strawberry, Placerville, Sly park area. What a gorgeous scenery!!!!

I had my top down all the time with the windscreen on. We were not expecting to hit snow but WE DID!? The temp went down to 33 dgrs was the lowest I saw. Even my temp chime on my Mini came on. NO worries, seat warmers on, heater on, and driving gloves on, I had the biggest smile on my face.

I had not put the Windscreen trough this test, but it performed flawlessly!!

Here are few pics.

Definitely need black. A flexible/stretch section down the middle to allow individual seat movement without screen removal seems warranted. If you need additional testers, give me a shout.
