Holy jumpin' Jehosaphat... It's luverly outside! Just went by the dealership on my lunch to grab a quick part and had my top down for the first time in months. 50 degrees and sunny, baby!! It's like I have a new car (again). I might just have to get out of here early, donchaknow?

Viva la cabrio!!

It's ~50 here in Central Illinois too! First ride in my own convertible in 27 years... ever since that LeSabre crushed my MG Midget... Needless to say, I was on the look out for poorly driven Buicks!

Boy did that feel good. no wonder you Mini folks were always smiling!

Sweeeeeeet!!!!
We finally topped 60 in southern Ohio. Felt great to top down without any extra layers! Saw two others MinI's with tops dropped and a wave. It is truly like driving a new car! Whooot!!

55 and sunny in Cleveland...oh baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
I picked up my daughter and her two girlfriends from school this afternoon, in the MINI-S (hardtop) with the windows down and the sunroof open and The Who's "Long Love Rock" playing on the HK stereo, it was one of those perfect moments.
Let the good times roll!!
It's suppose to rain all day on Saturday.

You people...hmm....

I "topped-down" in 34 degree weather (at 70mph no less) here in Joisey.

Ok, fine...I JUST got my MCS two weeks ago. Maybe that explains it....

My 3 sons have passed around a sick bug for the past week. I've been inside on bedside detail and going crazy. This afternoon, after naps it was sooooooooo nice, called the insurance, uncovered the Mini from it's winter slumber and am waiting for my wife to get home and I'm out-a-here. I'm just going to drive and drive!!!!!!!! Bring on the Dragon!!!!!

Hey B&D, I know what you mean. I have NO IDEA what it's like to motor top down in warm weather -- I got MINI a few weeks ago too, the day before our first big snow storm in jersey!

Hopefully that warm weather in Ohio is headed this way!

We're suppose to see temps in the 80s (and possibly low 90s) this weekend.

I have the top down in all sorts of weather.
but nothing beats those first sping days when its actually a warm(ish) day.
when you have had temps in the negative numbers you truely enjoy those first few days in the 50's

I drove home with the top down last night. The tempo indicated 55+ most of the way home, then I got up near (the frozen) lake Erie and it dropped to the mid to high 40's.

How long should I wait before I remove the snow tires???

It was a nice day for motoring here yesterday too. It got up to 45! I had my windows down and roof open

(sorry, I'm not cool enough to have a cabrio, but wanted to share )

You've got a PINK MINI! That is WAY cool and super personalized in my opinion, and as slick as the cabrios in my eyes!

I was out last night (it was 39) and it was STILL great. Seat warmers on and the heater going and it was more than warm enugh - reminded me of why I used to love riding my motorcycle in the spring and fall - just chilly enough to make you appreciate your jacket.

I hope Spring is here to stay!

Calling for 70 today and mid 70's tomorrow here in Swampeast Misery(aka southeast Missouri). Been mid 60's last several days. It is great to feel the wind in my (lack of) hair again!

**Warning to other drivers: better put on your sunglasses to cut the glare. **

My philosophy is first day 40 or above I declare it spring and put the top down.

Only got to about 45 today in the very northern tip of WV but still had a top down ride. Heater on, wind screen in place - invigorating!!!

Holy cow, I'd be using the heated seats if I were in your shoes. We've been above 80 off and on here in the bay area/central cali. On the other hand, I'm also paying $3.15/gallon for premi this week.

I did realize that i've got to dust the inside of my car because of all the pollen in the air.

Stupid snow, I was so happy to have the top down earlier this week, and now it's nasty out again. I know this happens every spring but I don't have any patience for it now that I have a cabrio!

You Americans are spoiled. I've been driving the MINI topless since 26 degrees.

The joy of being Albertan.
