Well, Just had it in for the 4th time. This time they replaced some upper plastic pieces about the rear windows. The car is relatively quiet except that now when I hit some bumps it makes a squeeking noise in the rear. Will it never end!

So I brought the car in yesterday and they replaced something in the headliner. The sound is gone!

update

Had my car in for service 2 weeks ago

NO MORE SQUEAKS

They had to take the roof rails apart and grease a small section where a clip was and now the rattle that has driven me crazy for 10 thousand miles is gone

Since I bought pre-loved, I don't know how it was brand new. Mine squeaked a bit but now we've upgraded the rear sway bar and installed a strut brace and it seems to sqeak more. But its usually only when I'm backing out of my steep driveway. I've only got about 3000 more miles until the first service, so we'll see what they say about it. Sure does handle better now!!

One of the best fixes for an annoying rattle is a loud radio!

My top never rattled much...a little in colder weather. I then saw a post here on a product called "Gummi Pfledge". It's a rubber lubricant that worked wonders in eliminating cold creaks and groans.

I can't tell if mine rattles more when it's cold. With my teeth chattering and my bones creaking I really can't tell where the noises are coming from.
-4 here this morning on the North Coast. (I'll bet it was colder in Canada.)

Mine definitely rattles more in the cold.

Also there are sounds coming from the package shelf area or from inside the rear outer walls. Particularly when going over large bumps.

I'm hopefull that my upcoming switch away from runflats will help with roof rattling. Anyone have reduced roof noise after switching to non RFs?
