An oddity?

Admittedly, I have not had the time to consult the owners manual, so if this is a dumb question, I apologize.

Last night, I arrived home with the top down. (woo hoo!) As I was raising the roof, my son came out to greet me and I opened the door, thus stopping the roof raising process. I closed the door and resumed, and parked the car in the garage. About 1/2 an hour later, I was taking the trash out, I went through the garage and notice my brake light was on. Not the taillight brake lights, but the one just below the roof on the rear of the car. I went and got my keys, started the car, checked to make sure that the roof was completely seated, turned the car off and the brake light was off. So, was the brake light a warning that my roof was not up all the way, or did I engage a "follow me home" light that I was unaware of. When I reseated the roof, it didn't budge like it wasn't all the way in place, but perhaps it was just not seated enough to engage a sensor....

Ideas? Thoughts?

The light was a warning that you had initiated the self-destruct sequence. Sounds like you got it shut off just in time. Whew!
Really, I have no clue. Just padding my post count.

It happened to me also on Wednesday night. I park in my garage and went out after an hour or so and the brake lights were on. Cycled the headlight switch and they went out. Really wierd.
