cabrio rear window issues

anyone else have issues with their '06 cab rear windows? When I put my top up, sometimes the back windows don't go up. Last night, the passenger one went up, but the driver one stayed down! Since they're both on the same switch, I would have thought this would be impossible!!!

Not worth going in for, since I can just manually raise the windows after the top is locked, but kind of annoying. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Occasionally my rear windows will not go all the way down - I have to hit the rear window button after the top has lowered to put them the rest of the way down. They are always in sync though. I've never had them not go all the way up when I raise the top.

I have noticed that, in general, if you use the "top down" button to take the top down and position the windows then when you use the "top up" button everything goes back into place normally. If, however, you use the front or back window buttons to adjust the windows when the top is down, then the "top up" button will no longer close up the windows, rather you will have to do that manually. It sounds like that may be what you are observing, as well.

Poster above is spot on. I have found under the same circumstances the same situation. Slightly annoying, but hey, we get to go topless.

neilgj's comment makes sense for everything I've been going through EXCEPT the one time one window was up and the other was down... Hoping that was an anomaly. I'll post again if it happens again. Not sure why they would ever work independently, since they're both on one switch?!
Thanks everyone!!!

My 06 did the exact same thing yesterday for the first time, 1 up 1 down. Kinda weird but I adjust my windows alot with the sunroof open to reduce wind noise. Perhaps the computer gets confused between manual adjustment and the auto up/down settings. Or maybe Microsoft wrote the code and there is a virus.

I mean, I can live with it, but I agree with banjoez that it's kinda weird, since there's only one switch for both back windows. I also adjust my windows a lot when the top is down to compensate for wind noise etc...
