I'm still around guys, have not died yet......I'm still working on the last of my corroded and water intrusion into my BCM of my 2006 R52 JCW car.....I'm sure I have found the source of how the water got into the connectors of my BCM....I found a replacement BCM with the same part number as a replacement for my original BCM...I had to send it out to get it recoded to match my original BCM....everything works again as it should...
Anyway, the water got into the car via the bad rubber gasket seal that goes around the front windshield, #6 part below.....I found good seals and have one on the way to me.....my question is, how is this seal changed out? I know I do not have to remove the glass, do I have to remove anything else, or does the seal just pull out and the new one just push back in?
