Hey guys, when I went to remove my cowl to replace it, it pulled off the seal/gasket that goes under the windshield. I got a new one, but im having trouble getting it to stick to the windshield. Ive used so much gasket sealant and taped the cowl seal to the windshield over night, but it wont stick. Does anyone have any suggestions or instructions? thanks! Heres a pic of the part

 

So I replaced mine a while ago, but I don't recall having to use any additional adhesive. I thought there was an adhesive strip on this part, where you just need to pull off the tape covering it?

I don't remember exactly, but I'm 99% sure no additional adhesive was required.
