I'm R52 1st gen cooper convertible owner. Now I'm trying to install new audio into the console. However, the inside of the console panel is in chaos, as various wires are intertwined. To sort out the chaos, I tried to remove the temperature control panel to make working space, but the panel could be only moved to the inside of the console frame. Does anyone teach this poor DIY guy how to remove it? By the way, the control panel is for automatic temperature control.
