I have this weird issue where the DSC light goes on. I can fix it by unplugging and plugging the ECU back in but the issue comes back on in less than a month. I took the mini to my local BMW guy, he found the DSC sensor under the master cylinder was bad. So I have the sensor on order from ECS tunning, it is coming all the way from Bavaria! DSC is helpful in the winter with snow tires going up a hill. I drive my mini to ski resorts in Vermont from CT.
I am posting this because I need some tips and tricks to replace the sensor so I don't have to bleed the brake system again. I will have that as the last resort but really don't want to bleed the brakes again. had it done 2 months ago, so it has fresh brake fluid. thought it would fix it.
