Hello all:

I am starting to look at options to replace my driver and passenger seat. I have seen pictures of people with recaro seats as well as Sparco seats. I see that ECS has some options for that. Has anyone here done it? I know there are issues for a 2006 regarding the passenger side airbag sensor. I have also read of people successfully using a resistor to avoid a dash fault light.


If you have swapped seats, done aftermarket or maybe R56 seats, please let me know your thoughts. I have done a search here but all these swap posts seem old and there is no clarity on level of success.
