R52 Removing Dash - What to repair?
Removing Dash - What to repair?
My Mini is in the shop getting the blower motor replaced, necessitating the removal of the entire dash. Since this process is like 8 hours of labor, I am wondering, w hat else should I have them check while it is torn apart? I would hate to go through this again for a part that would make sense to replace now!

Thanks for the info. I took a look at a pic from a dash removed and could basically see wires, hoses, air ducts, and the dang blower, smack dab in the middle in the back. I know the rest of the mechanical items from the cooling/heating system are accessible as I replaced them last year!
I took mine all off and used the soft side of the velcro tape all over the underside, MINI dealerships do the same thing. Just watch around the airbag system.
