Hello Guys and Gals!

So my mom has an R52 S and she really likes when the nighttime Speedo/Tach lights are on during the day (they stay on briefly after she's been parked in the garage). She went through the manual and I did a search here, but we couldn't find where the sensor is located. I was hoping that we could put a piece of electrical tape over it so the car always thinks that it's nighttime. Does anyone know where the sensor is?

They are automatic dim within a range , but you can turn the brightness up and down with the button near the tach.
