Strut Questions

I am about to replace the front struts and rear shocks on my Cabrio. In everyone's experience, what should I replace along with the struts and strut mounts? Am I going to need any hardware for the rear shocks. I am installing Bilstein Twintube Strut Assm front and rear. Reuse old dust covers and old spring pads?

If you spent the $$$ on quality struts and mounts why not replace bump stops and bellows?

That's basically what I was asking. I am on a budget but do want to do the job right. At the same time, I don't want to spend any extra money than I have to; I still have a P/S pump and fan to buy(I'm past the warranty). The struts are the OEM type replacements...I think they are the "B4". They were cheaper than I expected; $71.99 fronts each shipped and I believe $46.99 for the rears; free shipping as well.

rockauto.com is your friend. Maybe $30-40 total for what you need.

I guess there's no reason why not to. Thanks.

I'd check out the pelican parts site if you need a walkthrough:
