Cooling fan speed/resistor issue
hello all. New to the forum. I have been using the threads posted here to troubleshoot an issue and I am still a little stuck.
I have a 2007 S Convertible. I noticed that the cooling fan seems to only turn off, or run on high, similar to all the other threads posted about this issue. I measured the resistor and found that there was resistance between the common and 1st stage pins, (based on a youtube video) indicating the resistor is working?
With air conditioning off, the fan stays off till reaching temp, then high speed. With the AC on its High Speed only. Saw a new fan assembly available from Pelican Parts for less than 100 bucks, but before starting down the road of replacement, wanted to see if anyone had any advice on confirming the resistor. could there be another issue?
Thanks for the help!
