Any ideas why my front passenger-side plastic Sidewalk blinker light won't stay in place? I found it dangling on its electric cable when I went get into the car. I tried to reattach it but I don't get any "clicking" of the plastic clips as I think that I should. Nothing looks broken.

 

Mine did the same thing abt 5 years ago. I solved the problem with some electrical tape folded over the wee snap in post, the purpose, to take up the slack and hold it in firmly. It's held tight for over 50K miles and some less than comfortable roads. Give it a whirl.
