Windows don't go up.

Hi, when I take the top down of my 2006 mini cooper s convertible, the windows are not going back up (front or back) automatically. Can anyone help me with this problem? I have to do it manually (by pressing the window switches).

Did you hold the button all the way till the top goes down , then still hold it for a period after that? Sometimes if you lift your finger off the button a bit it will stop.

You can try this:
Instructions

  • 1 Insert the keys and turn on the ignition. It does not matter whether you start it or not.
  • 2 Put the window all the way up (if you are able).
  • 3 Press and hold the window switch in the up position for 10 or more seconds. Do this with the door closed.
  • 4 Open the door to make sure the window drops as it should. Close the door to make sure it goes back up again.
