R52 Are these three things related? Maybe?

Are these three things related? Maybe?

Symptom #1--CEL comes on intermittently (solid, not blinking)
Symptom #2--Ticking noise from the rear of the car (sounds like a turn signal)
Symptom #3--The car accelerates, then it feels like a switch opens and there is a bunch more power. It's not like turbo-lag where the power ramps up, it just happens, usually around 3000rpm or so.

A scan shows P1237 (Upstream manifold pressure?). Any ideas? Thanks

If the ticking noise is light and can really only be heard when the car is stopped or the engine is off, that might be the fuel pump. It does make a bit of noise.

I only can hear it when the car is stopped. Is not all the time however. You can really hear it well outside the car but I can't pinpoint where it is coming from. I also don't recall hearing it prior to just a few weeks ago.
