Checking my e-mail this morning, I found an e-mail from MINI...which introduced me to the MINI Convertible through the MINI web site....there's a lot of cool info on there (although much of it I had already read about online).

Still, for those waiting for a convertible....time is drawing near!

 

Yep, got it too. They list the new colors which don't include pepper white or indie blue. But do include Purple Haze, Hot Orange, Cool Blue and Astro Black.

 

I haven't seen the email yet but I'm pretty excited about the cabrio launch. MINI launches are loads of fun...new quirky ads....awestruck soon-to-be-owners in the showrooms....articles in the auto mags...inquiries from people on the street who see your MINI. I know I've gotten into discussions about how the new top works with several people already. Great fun!!!

 

Also -- I wish they would refer to it as a Cabrio instead of Convertible...or am I simply missing something here?

Sorry Yucca - but out of all the colors, the orange is my least favorite. I know lots of MINIacs out there like it, but it's just not me... :smile: I like the Cool Blue - reminds me of the Ocean......
