I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the appearance of the new convertible on Cold Pizza this moring on ESPN2. They were at the car show in N.Y. and they interviewed the head honcho from BMW sitting in the new "hot" orange MINI with the top down. Car looked great and I'm sure will be a big hit. He mentioned only the MINI Cooper will be available initially and then the "S" will follow. He screwed up the price but mentioned it should cost approx $4k more than the hardtop.
I'm on the list since October at my dealer, but I'm waiting for an "S".

You're very dedicated -- waiting it out for the Cabrio AND holding out even further for the S! I feel like a high tolerance for waiting is necessary to be a *true* MINI owner!

I have an 04 PW/PW "S". This is my second MINI already and can't wait for my third.
