I thought that I had read that the Cabrio would only be available in Blue or Orange.

I was under the impression the Cabrio would be available in all the regular MC colors, with the candy blue and the orange exclusive to the Cabrio. No mention as to when MINI is releasing the MCS Cabrio.

 

They will have the regular colors plus Orange and Cool Blue will be Cabrio colors only. Most dealers are still saying that the S and Cooper versions of the cabrio will be released together in the US, but Brit dealers are saying the S will come out a few months after the Cooper.

The Cooper Cabrio and the Cooper S Cabrio will have all the colors that the hardtop cars have (including the new colors for 2005) plus a couple exclusives. Based on what I've heard from people at MINIUSA (not dealers mind you) The MCS Cabrio should follow the MC Cabrio by one to three months in the US.

I haven't heard much more than to possibly expect an exclusive color for the MCS Cabrio along with the exclusives for the Cooper Cabrio. The name Hyper Blue was being mentioned on MINI awhile back but I can't verify that.

 

I'm happy to hear that the entire color range will be available on the Cabrio. I was thinking orange and blue were the only choices.

I think BRG with the BRG top looks great. I'd love to have it in an S, complete with Cordoba beige interior with chrome trim.
