my third brake light is not working... has anyone had this problem? any tips on how to take it out? thank you!

Mine quit working as well.. Of course didn't know it till I went to get car inspected and failed for it... New it's $105 from dealer.. Going to try to clean the terminals first and if that doesn't work, start calling around to some junk yards...

If I could take it apart might could swap in some LEDs from Advance Auto.. Doesn't seem to want to come apart in one piece though...

 

No luck when removing, cleaning, etc. Will have to pay a visit to the Dealer... Oh well... Thank you everybody!

 

Surprisingly I have not had any problems with the third brake light on my 02 MCS.
I even took it apart and added the pulsar. (Which I highly recommend!!)

I do however have trouble with my left and right tail-lights. Sometimes they don't come on. Like any British car a gentle tap to the light, and it come right on.
I need to take them out and clean them up!!
