So I got my car cover , my battery charger, nice dry garage to put it in , do I have to worry about gases coming from the battery & blowing up neighbors garage . And yes I in northern Ohio and don't need to drive it to ski slopes all winter, so I will put it away. 07 Mini S convertible .

Another hint would be to disconnect the battery and use a charger, so that it won't die on you and that way you don't need to buy a new battery when you want to drive again next spring .

 

I put a trickle charger on which I got from my Mini dealer plug in aux power supply , should only be in storage 4 short months .
