At the high price of these wind deflectors for the convertible MINIs, I am surprised that I have been unable to find any postings about people who have repaired them when the mesh screen has gotten ripped or torn.
Is it similar to replacing the screen a regular window or door?
I would imagine that the mesh material could be easily found, but is the strip that holds it in removable?
Can the strip be removed without damaging it, so that the same one can be reused to snug in the new mesh?]
Any previous experiences would be most welcome - thanks in advance!
