I feel kinda dumb and bad about this but here it goes. While perusing the board I noticed a post about cabin air filters and it was then that I realized that I've never changed it. I'm sure it had been changed under warranty but I'm well out of warranty now...I'm at 115k. Once I realized my oversight I changed out both filters.

I did the one air filter (engine) myself and it was filthy. :(

So here is my question...Since I had neglected the filters for so long should I or is there some kind of service I should get for my a/c system? It could be all in my head but I feel like my a/c seems cooler since I changed out the cabin filter. Or any other system cleanse because I had neglected the other air filter as well?

From now on I will be sure to change those filters out on a regular basis!
